"Kim and Bruce,
Thanks again for this year's YLI participation. Your role has become the highlight for the youth.
The individualized work with Bill was amazing and we'll
definitely have to talk about how to build that in for all
youth in future years YLI.

Again, thanks so very much!
Stay/be well,
Bob "

This camp is for anyone from 8 - 18 who is not familiar with Natural Horsemanship. Many younger campers take this same camp again and again because there is so much to learn and do! Camp activities will include introduction to Natural Horsemanship on-line ground handling skills and riding lessons, trail rides and hands-on horse related activities such as stall care, feeding, caring of horse and equipment. The campers will have opportunity to learn more about horses by having live demonstrations with experienced farriers, dentists and/or veterinarians. Experienced and concerned personnel will closely supervise each activity. The focus is on safety first and building a relationship wit the horse that becomes a lasting partnership. We wantthe children to learn while having fun! The last day of camp we will have a horse show so that the campers can demonstrate their newfound skills for their parents! Camp begins at 9:00 AM and concludes at 1:30 PM.
Campers should bring a daily snack and drink (plenty of water!). Time will be allotted for drinks and a snack; the campers will have lunch at home. Riding boots are required and they should bring their riding helmet if they have one (if not, one will be provided). Long pants must be worn during riding despite the heat, however,we will have opportunity for swimming so towels and swimwear and/or a change of clothes (shorts) should be packed as well.
